I share hints, tips, free quilt patterns and ideas on how to hang a wall quilt. I also share that I'm a quilt designer that's been published in major magazines and have a book due on the market soon.
Your Favorite Aspects of Quilting
Designing and taking it from paper to a finished product. There's great satisfaction in seeing the results. I prefer piecing as opposed to applique. I favor small projects such as table runners and wall quilts. Changing a traditional block at times is challenging but rewarding. I love to teach quilting and present lectures. To pass on the knowledge of quilting is a passion and pure joy.
Advice
- Share not only successes but mishaps in cutting, etc. We do learn from our mistakes. It's okay to unsew.
- Share ways you use up your scraps.
- List your favorite quilt magazines or books.
