I'm an unemployed Senior IT worker who loves to Quilt and loves The Ohio State Buckeyes. So this is a way for me to combine two of my favorite things. Shopping for Scarlet/Red and Gray fabric can sometimes be challenging. As I add to my stash I will upload pictures and manufacturers to make shopping a little easier.
Your Favorite Aspects of Quilting
I love to piece, and I use a number of techniques and tools to complete my quilts, Strip quilting, Eleanor Burns Day and Night, Marti Michell Perfect Patchwork Templates, Log Cabins, Nine Patch, and many more patterns. I use Quilt Pro software to design some of my quilts. I enjoy sharing my quilts with others, by using show and tell and giving them as gifts. I have expanded my quilt skills to making a quilted jacket and many bags and totes.
Advice
- Have fun with your blog. Include pictures with captions. Try to update it at least once or twice a week. Add Google Analytics to see how many visitors you are getting. Use Networked Blogs to upload directly to Facebook. Don't worry if you don't have a lot of followers.
