What made you choose the pattern?
My Mother in Law's sewing machine did the math for all of these blocks.
I wanted something small to use as a doll quilt for my daughter. It has always been in my office since it was complete.
Did you finish the quilt? If not, why?
Yes.
What do you love (or hate) about the quilt?
Because it is the first and it is finished.
What would you do differently next time?
Make sure the blocks were square before adding sashing and cornerstones.
What was the most difficult aspect of the project?
Who was going to watch the kids while I worked on it. This was made while on leave in Missouri from California. It was my first test to see if I really wanted to start quilting or if it was just another thing to try. It hooked me and I haven't stopped - it has been 12 years.
