2002Machine Brand and Model
Bernina 165 with embroidery module
Machine Pros
I absolutely love this machine. I know it isn't the most modern model available anymore but it has features I still haven't used so it is all the machine I need to accomplish my goals. It makes me a better sewer by giving me even stitches, crisp edges, and no grief when I am sewing on fussy material.
Machine's Cons
Sometimes the buttonholes I make don't come out the way I want. But that is probably my fault (I should review the directions). I wish the needle threader worked better since it is hard to see to thread the needle (also my fault, old eyes).
Machine Cost
I think it may have cost in the area of $2500. Plus embroidery cards
My Review
I would, and do, definitely recommend this machine to anyone. It is a workhorse, it doesn't give you trouble with the tension messing up or parts being shoddy and breaking. When you want to sew... you sew. You don't have to fiddle with the tension or anything to get it to work.
I love my Bernina. It was WELL worth what I paid for it.
