Arrange and Sew the Winged Square Quilt Blocks
- Arrange the blocks on a table or design wall, sorting them into three columns and choosing colors you feel work well together. Flip the blocks around until you are happy with the overall arrangement.
- Place a setting triangle cut from a 7" square along one side of each Winged Square unit as shown. Sew triangles to blocks and press seam allowances towards the setting triangle.
- Sew the two sets in each column together, matching center seams carefully. Press seam allowances towards the setting triangles.
- Fold corner triangles in half along their longest edges and finger crease. Sew a corner triangle to each corner of each column, matching the crease to the midpoint of each side of the block. Press seam allowances towards the corner triangles.
