Warm & Cozy Chains Quilt

Janet Wickell

Quilt Patterns - Warm and Cozy Chain Quilt Pattern

The Warm & Cozy Chains quilt finishes at about 70" x 90". It's made with a combination of two quilt blocks, a Five Patch Chain and a Framed Nine Patch. The patches of "chain" blocks link together to create a diagonal flow across the quilt.

Both quilt blocks are easy to make, and neither contains patches with stretchy bias edges. Alter the quilt's size by sewing more or fewer quilt blocks, or by sewing borders to the quilt.

The light neutral print is used in both quilt blocks, and forms the diagonal chains. Other fabrics are unique to each block. Change the colors to suit your own personal tastes.
