Assemble the Center Medallion & Triangle Squares

Sew frame around center medallion, sides first, then top and bottom.

Miniature Quilt Center Medallion

1. Sew the 1" x 5-1/2" dark strips to the top and bottom of the center medallion. Press seam allowances towards the medallion.

2. Sew the 1" x 6" dark strip to the sides of the medallion unit. Press seam allowances towards the medallion.

Make the Triangle Square Units

1. Make 16 half-square triangle units from the medium and dark 2-3/8" squares. Use the easy sandwich method to construct the units. When constructed each unit should measure 2" square.
