Easy Quilt Patterns
They don't get much simpler than this. The Road Trip quilt (named for the Route 66 fabrics it's sewn with) is an easy quilt pattern made by assembling columns of squares, with rectangles at the ends of a few columns to create offsets that simulate a "wavelike" appearance. Choose fabrics of different color values to make the waves appear. The column-like setting is typically known as a strippy set or strippy quilt.
Make copies of the drawing on page 3 and play around with color and value if you'd like to change the flow of the patches.
Cut patches from a variety of fabrics to make a scrap quilt.
