Dark Warm (rust):

  • (1) 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" square
  • (2) 6-7/8" x 6-7/8" squares, each cut in half once diagonally

Light Background

  • (2) 5-1/8" x 5-1/8" squares, each cut in half once diagonally
  • (6) 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares

Dark Neutral (brown)

  • (6) 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares
  • (4) 3-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles

Miniature Quilt Cutting Chart

Dark Warm (rust):

  • (1) 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" square
  • (2) 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" squares, each cut in half once diagonally

Light Background

  • (2) 3" x 3" squares, each cut in half once diagonally
  • (6) 2-3/8" x 2-3/8" squares**

Dark Neutral (brown)

**Used to make quick-pieced half-square triangle units. I often cut oversize squares and then trim the finished units back to their correct size after assembly, aligning the diagonal seam with the ruler's 45-degree line to ensure block halves are identical.
