Assemble the King's Crown Quilt Block
Before you begin, review the quick pieced Flying Geese method that we'll use for this quilt block.
- Pair two sky blue squares with a grass green rectangle. Use the method linked above to create a Flying Geese unit from the patches. Press. The unit should measure 2-1/2" x 4-1/2". Repeat to make a total of four Flying Geese units.
- Arrange the four deep blue squares, four Flying Geese units and large multicolor square into three rows as shown.
- Sew the components of each row together. Press seam allowances towards the squares.
- Join the rows and press. The quilt block should measure 8-1/2" x 8-1/2".
