Assemble the Christmas Star Quilt Block
- Arrange components into groups as illustrated.
- Sew the components of a 4-unit corner group together, and then join the two rows (press unit seams in opposite directions where possible; press the seam allowance that joins rows towards the row with the medium green/neutral triangle square unit). Repeat for remaining corners.
- Sew a strip-pieced segment between two corner units as shown. Press seam allowances towards the strip pieced unit. Repeat to assemble remaining corners/strip pieced units.
- Sew the center square between two strip pieced units to create the center row. Press seam allowances towards the center square.
- Join all rows, matching seams carefully. Press the block. it should measure 20-1/2" x 20-1/2" square.
