Make the Black Print Columns

Make the two variations of black columns.

There are four columns made from 6" wide black panels. Two contain three panels each and two contain four panels each.

Sew each column together as directed below, or arrange them adjacent to the red panels (see page 4) if you aren't sure how you want to arrange prints yet.

  1. Combine three 16-1/2" long black/white panels, sewing them end to end to create a column. Repeat to make another column from remaining 16-1/2" long panels; alter the position of fabrics that you repeat.

  2. Combine four 12-1/2" long black/white panels, sewing them end to end to create a column. Repeat to make another column from remaining 12-1/2" long panels; alter the position of fabrics that you repeat.

  3. Press seam allowances in any direction.
