For Those Who Chose the Quick Piecing Method
- Gather the (80) 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" black rectangles and (160) 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" golden yellow squares.
- Use the Snowball tip technique to sew two squares to the ends of a black rectangle. Align seams as shown in the illustration. Trim corners and press open.
- When complete, the Flying Geese unit should measure 1-1/2" x 2-1/2".
- Make three more identical Flying Geese.
- Sew four Flying Geese together as shown, with all points headed in the same direction.
- The 4-geese unit should be 2-1/2" wide and 4-1/2" tall.
- Make a total of 20 identical 4-geese units.
