Sometimes we see Darting Birds quilt blocks arranged in groups of four to resemble a flock of birds in flight. I think that's a good look, but felt like trying single blocks flying upwards for this quilt pattern. The result -- a crib sized Darting Birds quilt with twelve traditional blocks placed on point and surrounded by setting squares and triangles.
The neutral background lets the birds stand out and gives the quilt a light and airy appearance. Quilt blocks finish at 6" square and the quilt measures 35" x 43-1/2".
