Wyoming Valley Quilt Block Pattern
Wyoming Valley is a traditional patchwork quilt block that falls into the category of you can assemble me in loads of ways. Look at the illustration and it's easy to see that the black patches are diamonds. They can be cut and assembled as diamonds, but another option is to orient half square triangles so that they flow together to create the same shape. Or, you can mimic the diamonds by sewing a pair of stacked Flying Geese units. The Wyoming Valley quilt block pattern includes instructions for two of those methods.
