Shoo Fly Quilt Block
Like other blocks in the Forum's 2008 Beginner Block Lotto, the Shoo-Fly finishes at 6-inches square. That's perfect for baby quilts, wallhangings or even a large quilt, but I've also included cutting instructions for a 12-inch version for those of you who want to make larger blocks for yourself. This one goes together quickly, and once you've made a few I predict you'll love the look of florals combined with white-on-white so much that you'll keep stitching.
