The traditional Monkey Wrench quilt block is an all time favorite. Like other blocks, its dimensions can be configured to give a little here or take a little there, and this version's big triangular corners are the perfect place to showcase floral prints. I wrote the pattern for Terri, one of our Quilting Forum Hostesses. She's organizing a swap for 9" versions of the block. If you'd like to join our swaps, monitor the Forum for to see what's new.
The Monkey Wrench quilt block pattern includes instructions to make eight identical blocks in two different sizes, choose 4-1/2" square or 9" square.
