The quilt dedicated to the memory of NY Port Authority Staff members who were killed during the September 11 attacks is made up of 18" log cabin blocks that have been tilted and turned. Although similar for continuity, blocks are unique, just like the people they honor.
The quilt measures about 70" x 80" and was hand quilted by Jean Kwiatkowski of Byron, Illinois. The United States flag in the upper right corner of the quilt was cross-stitched by Sharon Jones.
