Each block of the quilt made in memory of New York Fire Department members will contain four 3.5" x 3.5" photos. The quilt also depicts photo's of ladder trucks, fire engines, emergency vehicles to symbolize the heroic firefighter's and the vehicles lost during the attack. This memorial quilt is approximately 118" x 127", with 347 photographs.

The FDNY Memorial Quilt at its dedication in 2006, at the Marriott Financial Center in New York City. The Memorial Quilt will be permanently preserved at the New York City Fire Museum.
