Sew the Quilt Block
- Align the light center square with the lightest medium rectangle, placing right sides together as shown above and with the square on top.
- Begin stitching a quarter-inch seam at the end where patches meet and sew until you reach the midpoint of the square.
- Backstitch and remove the unit from the sewing machine.
- Press the partial seam towards the center square.
