Richard's Ties - Necktie Quilt

From Jacquie: "This queen size tie quilt was a special request of my brother-in-law. All of these ties belonged to him. The pattern is an adaptation from the book "Daddy's Ties" by Shirley Botsford. I took the ties apart, washed them, cut them to size, stabilized, and finally appliqued them to the batik background. The quilt border includes the shorter end of the ties and some of the labels."
