Gummer Family Quilt

From Joy: The inspiration for this memory quilt was my mother's love of her family and her extensive research into our family back to the 1600's. I happened to see an ad for photo fabric that you can print on while browsing the internet -- I ordered the fabric and the adventure began. This is my first attept at a quilt and I had not done any sewing since home economics in the 70's. I just did research on the internet and trial and error. My quilt fits my Mom's twin bed with the photos covering the top of the bed and the edging hanging over the side.
