Todd's Harley T Shirt Quilt

From Marilyn: "This quilt was made by me and a very close friend from her brother's collection of Harley Tee's. Her brother Todd passed away last year and had asked me before his death if I would make one for him. Time passed and I didn't get around to making it. In November his sister called me and asked me to make it for her mother for Christmas. I had never assembled one before and it was quite a journey from picking the backing, sashing and batting for this project (we used Warm and Natural batting). We tied each block in five places using three strands of cross stitch thread. It was an emotional experience as we shared memories about her brother. He was quite a guy!"
