I tried to choose appropriate shirts for each person, and I had photos of my son and each recipient turned into T-shirt transfers so that each quilt has a picture of Daniel with the person who received the quilt.
Prior to this, I have never done any quilting, and most of the construction was just guessing. The more I do, the better they get, as usual. By "real quilter's" standards, they are probably not right with the world, but I didn't know what else to do with his shirts. I have at least two more quilts to make, and then I don't know what. Keep going, I suppose.
Note from Janet... I think you'll all agree that Marg is indeed a real quilter. The shirts are lovely, and a lasting tribute to her son. You'll find two more of Marg's quilts on the following pages.
