From Shirley: "The only way my youngest daughter would part with her saved t-shirts and sweatshirts was to allow me to put them a quilt for her when she graduated from high school in 2000. There were too many shirts to make just one quilt so I made the quilt reversible. One side has her school and sport shirts sewn into it and the other has her fun shirts. The quilt helped comfort her during sick days as well "homesick" days when she moved out on her own. Every inch of the quilt is made with t-shirts and the binding is strips of leftover t-shirts. Not much of the shirts went to waste."
You can see the "fun" side of this t-shirt quilt on the next page.
