Quilting for the Cure

Quilt by the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church Quilt Class
The members of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church quilt class pieced the blocks for this Quilt for the Cure wallhanging from fabric donated by Honey Fork Fabrics. Members of the church congregation wrote names of woman they knew who were survivors or victims of breast cancer. It was quilted on a long arm by Nelsonville Quilt Company. Our local hospital, Doctors Hospital Nelsonville, bought it. The quilt is hanging in their mammography area. The money from the purchase was donated to the Stephanie Spielman Cancer Research Fund.
