From Karen: This is my third Levi quilt (using a "ribbon" pattern) for my third son, Stephen, as I continue to recycle the family bluejeans.
Note from Janet: You can use the Friendship Star quilt block to make a similar quilt, but put half-square triangle units at its corners, instead of squares. There are lots of variations to the Friendship Star block, all known by different names.
