My Mom's Muu-Muus Quilt

From Wendy: I made this quilt for a friend, after she asked me if I could make something out of the muu-muus she had of her mother's. Her mom passed away a couple years ago, and she finally got around to cleaning out her closet, and wanted to remember her mom with these muu-muus. I held onto them for about 6 months before I came across a pattern that I felt would do them justice. The background was a pattern that I found, but it was only used as the background, and then I used one of the muu-muu's for the border and the other for the flower applique. I gave my friend the quilt and she loves it. Now, she has something she can wrap up in while watching TV, and as she touches it, she can remember her mom.
