Assemble the Strippy Quilt Columns
Cut Corner TrianglesCut (6) 5-1/8" x 5-1/8" black squares. Cut each in half once diagonally. You'll use four triangles per column.
Cut Setting Triangles
Do not use this method for border print triangles.
Cut (5) 9-3/4" x 9-3/4" squares. Cut each square in half twice diagonally. You'll use six triangles per column; save two for another project.
Optional Border Print Setting Triangles
Use the template created previously to cut one border print triangle. Cut (17) more identical triangles by placing the first on top of the fabric, right side up, and aligning all areas of the print. You could align long strips on top of each other (matching prints) and cut through several layers at once.
