Analogous Quilts

Analogous is a complicated sounding name for quilts made from colors that lie side by side on the color wheel. Analogous colors look good together naturally, because their color roots are similar.

Select a focal color, then choose the two colors on each side of the focal. If you like, extend outward and add the next round of colors that touch the original focals.

It's important to include neutral colors, plus shades, tints and tones of the colors you're using, to add depth and variety to analogous quilts.
