Begin Making the Table Runner

Make twelve four-patch blocks from your half square triangle units.

Make 12 Four-Patch Quilt Blocks

  1. Use my quick-piecing instructions to make a total of forty-eight half square triangle units by pairing your 3-3/8" light and dark small print squares. After assembly, each unit should measure 3" square.

  2. Make twelve four-patch quilt blocks by sewing four triangle square units together as shown in the photo above--two units each in two rows. Press seams between rows in opposite directions.
