Sawtooth Star Quilt Block Pattern
The Sawtooth Star is one of the most popular traditional quilt blocks you'll encounter. And because it's so popular, you'll find there are lots of variations of the design, including this star with a 16-patch unit at its center. The center unit can be strip pieced or sewn together square-by-square. Star tips are Flying Geese units, and can be easily quick pieced. Block corners are plain squares.
