About the Quilt Block
Round the Corner is a five-patch quilt block that's made primarily from squares, with half-square triangle units at its corners. All of the block's patchwork can be rotary cut and quick-pieced.Finished block size: 10" x 10"
Fabrics & Cutting
Medium brown: for outermost squares and for half-square triangle units.
- (2) 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strips
- (2) 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" squares
Light neutral: for perimeter squares and half-square triangles
- (1) 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strip
- (2) 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" squares
Very dark brownish/black/warm: for dark squares in block center
- (2) 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" strips
- (1) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square
Medium-light brown(ish) for lighter squares in block center
- (2) 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" strips
- (2) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" squares
