About the Quilt Block Pattern
Philadelphia Pavement is a quilt block with the traditional Shoo Fly design at its center. Shoo Fly is surrounded by a frame and corner squares.I've included two assembly options:
- Construct the blocks with individual patches -- best for using your stash to assemble blocks from an assortment of fabrics.
- Strip piece some components -- a good choice if you want to make many identical blocks.
Both options include quick pieced half square triangle units.
The block above is made with a dusty-pink tone-on-tone print, combined with a small scale floral with dusty pink and an off white print with tiny green dots. Alter fabrics to suit your needs.
