Finish Assembling the Quilt Block
- Strip Set C Sew a the 4-1/2" side of a 4-1/2" x 5" light background piece to the 4-1/2" edge of the 2" x 4-1/2" dark strip.
- Repeat, sewing the remaining 4-1/2" x 5" light background piece to the other side of the dark strip. Press seam allowance towards the center.
- Square up one end of the strip and cut two 2" segments from it.
- Arrange three rows of components as shown above, turning nine-patch units so that top and bottom rows are mirror images of each other. Sew rows together and press.
- Assemble another block with the remaining pieces.
