Designing the Mosaic Pinwheels Quilt Block
The two sets of spokes in the Mosaic Pinwheels quilt block vary a bit in color value, but not enough to create high contrast between the two areas. The result is a quilt block with subtle differences in its pinwheels, creating somewhat of a watercolor look. If you like, choose fabrics with more contrast in those positions.This pinwheel quilt block will look good no matter what types of fabrics you choose, from batiks to kids prints.
The quilt block is assembled entirely with half-square triangle units. The instructions lead you through assembly using my favorite quick piecing technique. Alter cutting instructions to use a different method.
