Jacob's Ladder Quilt Block

Traditional Quilt Block - Drawing © Janet Wickell

Jacob's Ladder is a popular traditional quilt block. When blocks are sewn together side by side they create a quilt with diagonal pathways across its surface.

Jacob's Ladder is assembled from a combination of four-patch and half square triangle units. The block is easy to make when you use quick piecing methods to sew the patches together.
