Jacob's Ladder Quilt Block

The traditional Jacob's Ladder quilt block is an all-time favorite, and when blocks are sewn together side by side they create a quilt with diagonal pathways across its surface.

Jacob's Ladder is assembled from a combination of four-patch and half square triangle units. The block is easy to make when you use quick piecing methods to assemble it.

This pattern is being used in a current block swap on our forums, but fabric guidelines and value placements have changed. If you are participating in the swap please use the fabric guidelines established by the hostess.
