Assemble Flying Geese Units in One Color Combo

Make the dark teal geese with light backgrounds

  1. Gather one large teal square and four small neutral squares. Draw a line from one corner to the opposite corner on the reverse side of the four small squares.

  2. Place two light squares on the large teal square, right sides together and small squares in opposite corners as shown, center illustration. The center line on the back of each small square should flow together as shown.

  3. Sew two seams, each a scant 1/4" from the center line (also shown in center illustration, left). Press the unit (as is) to set the seams.

  4. Cut the unit in half along the original drawn lines (center illustration, right) to create two new units.

  5. Carefully press the triangles in each unit open (bottom illustration).
