Churn Dash Frame Quilt Block
The Churn Dash Frame is very similar to the traditional Churn Dash quilt block, but it has a larger center square to help you frame decorative panels, novelty fabrics or any other printed fabric.Enlarging the center of the block makes the side bars narrower, producing a more delicate frame that won't overpower your print.
The Churn Dash Frame block finishes at 12-inches square, but I've also included cutting instructions for a 6" square block.
See page 3 for strip-piecing instructions that will help you assemble multiple blocks more quickly.
