The quilts shown on this page and the next are each made with 35 quilt blocks. In this layout, blocks are sewn side by side, and all are positioned in the same way. The outer bars and squares of blocks form a ready-made sashing.Fabric requirements for a quilt like this, which finishes at about 50" x 70":
Black print: 1-1/2 yard
Multicolor rust print: 1 yard
Warmish neutral print: 1-3/4 yards
Yardages do not include binding and backing fabrics.
