Scrappy Basket Quilt Block
Note: there may have been some confusion in the newsletter that introduced the Scrap-Happy Sampler Quilt. The basket block was included in the same newsletter, but is not the first block in the series. Follow the link for the Sampler Quilt heading to find the first block, and keep that link handy for updates.15" Finished Quilt Block
Quick pieced half square triangle units make up the majority of this scrappy basket quilt block, with rectangles and single triangles completing the mix.
The basket quilt block goes together easily when you use quick piecing techniques. Follow the instructions to make two scrappy basket blocks. Repeat to make additional basket quilt blocks.
