Woven Baskets Quilt Pattern

This wallhanging is one example of a quilt you can make with nine Woven Baskets quilt blocks. Yardages are included to help you make identical blocks. Blocks are placed on point and separated by setting and corner triangles. The quilt is assembled by sewing components into diagonal rows. Beginning quilters, take a look at the diagram for the Ohio Stars Wallhanging to see how rows are arranged.

When you arrange the components, flip the blocks around, with their "checkerboards" upwards, to see if you like that layout better.

Read more about fabric grain and the techniques used to cut setting triangles before you begin.

The baskets quilt finishes at about 61" x 61"
