Goshen Star Quilt Block Pattern - my block has a little boo-boo. Will I fix it? Probably not -- inconsistencies are part of the charm of scrap quilts.

Intro to the Goshen Star Quilt Block Pattern

Goshen Star is the fourth quilt block pattern for the Scrap Happy Sampler Quilt. I chose Goshen Star because it's another design that is very scrap-friendly, allowing you to use some of the small pieces of fabric in your stash to make the quick-pieced tips that create a star at the quilt block's center.

Finished block size: 12" x 12"

Before you begin, see page 3 for a few Goshen Star color and color value layout options.

Deep yellow or yellow/gold: (2) 5-7/8" x 5-7/8" squares

Blue: (2) 5-7/8" x 5-7/8" squares; (1) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square

Very dark navy print: (4) 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" bars

Red: (16) 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" squares (draw a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner on the reverse of each square); mix colors/fabrics as desired to use your scraps
