Make an Amish Baskets Quilt
This Amish Baskets quilt is made from nine Amish Baskets quilt blocks. Five are sewn in one color combination, and the remaining four differ (but repeat some of the fabrics used in the first).Quilt blocks are set on point and separated by setting squares and setting triangles.
- (4) Setting squares that measure 15-1/2" x 15-1/2" each
- Setting triangles: cut (2) 22-1/2" x 22-1/2" "parent" squares; cut each square in half twice diagonally to make (side and top) setting triangles
- Corner triangles: cut (2) 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" "parent" squares; cut each square in half once diagonally to make four corner triangles
