Continuous Bias Binding, Beginning Steps

Cut square in half then sew the halves together as directed.

Assemble Continuous Bias Binding

  1. Cut a square of fabric the size calculated to produce the length of binding required.

  2. Use pins to mark two opposite edges, then cut the square diagonally from one corner to the other.

  3. Place the two pin-marked edges right sides together, raw edges aligned and triangle nubs overlapping equally at each end.

  4. Sew the segments together with a 1/4" seam allowance. Press the seam allowance open.
