This colorful Grape Basket is one of two quilt blocks that hang on the Farmer's Market in Marion, North Carolina, a structure that's part of McDowell County's Quilt Barn Trail. Fill it with the colors of summer, as shown, or tailor your fabrics to represent another season of the year. Or how about stitching a wallhanging from four Grape Basket blocks - one each for spring, summer, fall and winter. Put the blocks on-point to increase the wallhanging's size.
