Four Little Baskets Quilt Block and Quilt

This example illustrates how a quilt might look if some of each block's outer bars are sewn in different colors. You could also do away with the black bars entirely, and allow contrasting colors to meet where blocks are sewn together. Follow an orderly arrangement or go entirely scrappy with the layout. Add a border or two if you like.
