Flower Basket Quilt Block Pattern
This pretty basket quilt block pattern is the seventh quilt block pattern for the Scrap Happy Sampler Quilt. The 12" (finished) basket quilt block is designed with lots of half square triangle units, and that means you can use your leftover fabrics to create a very scrappy layout.
The color and color value arrangement shown in the illustration is one example of a layout for your basket block -- switch it up to suit your tastes and your scrap bin. Sorry for the graphics, I've been scrambling to get things completed and have not photographed and edited the entire block process. I'll replace the graphics with photos, but you don't really need them -- the images here will work just fine.
Finished block size: 12" x 12"
The cutting instructions will result in a basket quilt block similar to my example. Change fabrics and color value in any way you like.

Trim-back instructions are within the HST assembly tutorial, linked from the next age.
