Odds and Ends is an easy quilt block that's rotary cut and quick-pieced, so you'll finish it in a flash. The block was used to make our Anniversary Sampler Quilt.Finished block size: 12" x 12"

Odds and Ends Quilt Block - Fabrics

The colors illustrated above are for clarity. Choose fabrics that work with your quilt's theme.

Light to Medium Green Small Scale Floral

Used in the half-square triangle units in center section and in the long bars on the outer edges of the quilt block.

  • Cut one 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" square
  • Cut one 2" x 27" strip

Light Pink Small Scale Floral

Used in the long bars that are sewn to green bars.

  • Cut one 2" x 27" strip

Medium Pink Medium Scale Floral

Used in the half-square triangle units in the block center and in the four patch units at the block corners

  • Cut one 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" square
  • Cut one 2" x 17" strip

Dark Green Geometric

Used in the four patch units at the block corners

  • Cut one 2" x 17" strip

Larger Scale Dark Pink Floral

Cut two 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" squares to use in the center portion of the quilt block.
