A few of the Anniversary Sampler Quilt blocks have lots of pieces -- nothing super difficult, but they took a little time to assemble. This one's a breeze, and it's constructed entirely with quick piecing techniques. The design is the traditional Churn Dash, but with a quarter-square triangle unit at its center instead of a single square.
Fabrics shown help me illustrate the block, but be sure to choose fabrics to work with your quilt's theme, and feel free to change values to suit you, or to work with a scrappier assortment.
The Churn Dash variation block finishes at 12-inches square.
